I’ve been getting a lot of questions lately about what’s going on with Steven Anderson and his family – especially after his children started speaking out publicly.
For those who’ve followed the show for a while, you might remember that I had John Anderson—one of Steven Anderson’s sons—on the podcast back on September 11, 2024. If you haven’t seen that episode, I highly recommend checking it out. It’s still available here on the channel.
Around that time, several of Anderson’s children began coming forward and sharing their stories. They spoke about varying levels of abuse in the home. There were calls for Child Protective Services (CPS) to step in. One of his daughters ran away from home shortly before turning 18.
Then things got a bit quiet.
Recently, someone asked what the current status is. I had a partial answer in mind, but I did a little more digging – and here’s what I found:
CPS Is Still Involved
Just a few days ago, on July 8, 2025, Steven Anderson tweeted:
“CPS is at my house again today because someone reported my preaching as abusive… maybe they should be investigating the people who raped teenagers at Epstein's island and stop investigating a man of God.”
(Probably more of an and/or situation there, Steve.)
He followed that up by saying that CPS visits have become so frequent that it’s easier to just let them in and talk. He said there were times they were coming every week or even every day.
So yes – CPS is still actively investigating. But so far, it seems they’re visiting and then leaving without taking further action.
A New Documentary Is in the Works
This next part surprised me.
While I was looking into recent updates, I came across a trailer for a new documentary being produced by Paul Wittenberger.
If that name rings a bell, it’s probably because Wittenberger has made a lot of conspiracy theory documentaries like What in the World Are They Spraying? and The Great Culling (with Infowars). But he’s also known for several Christian films – including After the Tribulation, Marching to Zion, and New World Order Bible Versions – all in collaboration with Steven Anderson.
The twist?
Wittenberger has cut ties with Anderson and is now producing a documentary painting him in a very negative light that includes interviews with several of Anderson’s children. From what I’ve seen, it’s fairly far along in production. It looks like a release could be coming within the next year.
